Platelet Function Assay
Invitrox, Inc.’s proprietary technology include methods that utilize Electrophoretic Quasi Elastic Light Scattering (EQELS™), which uses the change in platelet electrokinetics as an endpoint for assessing the change in cellular environment of a platelet from resting to an activated state. REACT-P uses CLIA compliant assay procedures for sample preparation and custom instrumentation designed specifically for optimal detection of cellular metabolic changes.
Other commercially available platelet function tests require a normal platelet count and are limited by platelet aggregation as the only assay end point. REACT-P is a reliable method to assess platelet function that is independent of platelet count.
